About Student Affairs Diversity Committee

In 2008 The Division of Student Affairs at the University of Utah began to develop a diversity council to address diversity issues related to our work with students. The Student Affairs Diversity Committee (SADC) met for the first time in July 2009, and included representatives from each Student Affairs office. This Committee will help to identify the needs of each office, receive training and assist with training of other offices. It is important that all offices be competent and comfortable with our diverse communities as they play a significant role in creating a safe, welcoming and knowledgeable campus environment for all of our students, staff and faculty.
